Take a look at CBeebies’ brilliant Andy’s Wild Adventures game and you will now see not only Amazon rainforest and savannah environments, but two new ones, the Rocky Mountains and the Arctic.
Just as we did for the Amazon and savannah, we supplied the site’s creators, Aardman Digital, with animal characters, backgrounds and props for these two new environments.
Fleece Lightning is a turbo-charged and action packed new iphone game from Aardman Digital, Chillingo and Green Ant. The game involves Shaun frantically racing against the naughty pigs over 80 jam-packed levels. Fleece Lightning is getting great reviews and is really great fun to play with simple controls and ultra-fast gameplay.
Our part in the project was to create all of Fleece Lightning’s in-game sprites, animations, backgrounds and props and we’re really pleased with the finished result.

North Yorkshire County Council plans to deliver high speed broadband to all businesses and citizens across North Yorkshire by 2017. We created an animation in CGI for NYnet in conjunction with the council to show how all areas of North Yorkshire will be connected to the upcoming network.

Barn stormer is a fantastic new run and jump Shaun the Sheep game for the Windows Phone. We were commissioned by Aardman Digital to create all the game’s animated sprites and background artwork, and we also created the illustration for the home screen shown above. Great stuff!
The game is now available on the Windows Marketplace.
The latest Bonjour Milo disc has now been released!
Milo’s Sports Challenge to teaches French to Primary aged children through animated music videos, live action and fun activities all on one Cd-Rom. We had a great time putting the program and animations together and are thrilled with how the educational resource looks and plays.
The Cd-Rom is available from the Sparklespeak website along with other French language programs: Milo’s Rainforest Quest and Milo’s Under-the-Sea Adventure.
Andy’s Wild Adventures is a new Children’s natural history series now showing on Cbeebies. It follows presenter Andy Day and his cuddly companion Kip the Cat on wild adventures around the world in search of weird and wonderful animals. The show uses impressive green screen technology to immerse Andy alongside the animals he and Kip search for.
Aardman Digital have just launched an exciting new website to accompany the show which includes two interactive environments and two mini-games. Sun and Moon was commissioned to illustrate the site’s environments and animate the site’s animals. The enviromnents are currently the African savannah and Amazon rainforest and two more will be launched at the end of March- the Arctic and Rocky Mountains.

Keep out of a mess, know your address! Here’s an image from a series of six Welsh and English language animations we made for Gwent police which help to make Primary school aged children aware of various important safety issues. The songs were composed and sung by school children which we then animated.

This morning we were interviewed by Jenny Hill for the BBC Breakfast News. We were talking about how the animation industry in the U.K is under threat from overseas animation production houses whose respective governments offer substantial tax breaks and incentives. This has a serious impact on the business U.K animators can win.

Superfast Cornwall are building a brand new superfast broadband network across the whole of Cornwall. They approached us to create an animation which explains the many ways in which this superfast technology will be put in place.
Superfast Cornwall is a programme funded by the EU, BT and Cornwall Council, and managed by Cornwall Development Company, a local authority company controlled by Cornwall Council.

It was a good chance for us to work in a semi-realistic style and we’re really happy with the final result. Have a look when you get the chance.
We are proud to announce that Bossa Studios’ Monstermind is now live on Facebook. Our part in the project was to create a series of in-game tutorial animations.
We really enjoyed working on the game’s retro 1950’s style and now a playable version is live, we’re quickly getting really addicted to it!

Have you played it yet? Steve Backshall’s epic Deadly Planet is now live and we’re already totally addicted to it. We were called in by Aardman Digital to build and animate all of the game’s characters and create all the background and platform elements. It was a fantastic project to have contributed to and we’re over the moon about the final result!

More games in production here. We’re about to produce five educational games for Gwent Police Authority. The games will educate children from ages five to eighteen on a wide range of issues such as safe use of alcohol, positive and antisocial behaviour and drugs awareness.
They’re also going to look great and be really fun to play. More info and pictures coming soon!
We haven’t posted any news for a while. The reason is we’ve been busy at work over the last couple of months working on a number of fantasatic new games.
First we created sixteen animations for a brand new Facebook game. Next we made in-game assets and animations for a new i-phone racing game and we’re now creating sprites, backgrounds and animations for a web based platform game.
Very exciting!
